Odyssey posted three Tour wins on Sunday, including a dramatic playoff win for White Hot Pro at the Ballantine’s Championship (European Tour). While a White Hot Pro Center Shafted Mallet Belly Putter won in Korea, Odyssey’s other two victories came on the LPGA Tour (White Ice Sabertooth) and Web.com Tour (White Rize iX #5 V Line Center Shafted).
After earning three more wins on Sunday, The #1 Putter in Golf now leads all putter brands with 19 worldwide Tour wins this year. White Hot Pro has captured two victories, Tank has won and Versa has a Tour win too. Our putters are delivering at the world’s biggest events and the wins are validating all our clutch moments this year. We’re the #1 Putter in Golf and the #1 Putter on Sundays. That’s all there is to say, really.

Gates Finishes T4 In New Orleans
Bobby Gates played his best golf off the year last week and vaulted up the leaderboard with a final round 66 to finish T4 at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. He shot 67-70-70-66 on the TPC Louisiana layout and used an X Hot Pro Driver (9.5°), X Hot Pro Fairway Wood, X Forged Irons, a HEX Black Tour Ball and Odyssey Putter. Watch out for more weeks like this from Gates; he’s putting it all together at the right time.
Noren, Larrazabal, Jaidee All Finish T6 On European Tour
Alexander Noren, Pablo Larrazabal and Thongchai Jaidee showed once again why they’re top-10 machines as they all ended in a five-way T6 at the Ballantine’s Championship. Noren played a RAZR Fit Xtreme Driver (8.5°), X Hot Pro 3Deep Fairway Wood, an X Hot Pro Hybrid, HEX Black Tour Ball and an Odyssey Putter in his second straight top-10 on the European Tour, and third top-10 of the year.
Yet even Noren is working to keep up with Larrazabal, who’s now posted three top-10s over his last four European Tour starts. Pablo carried an X Hot Pro Driver (9.5°), X Hot Fairway Wood, RAZR X Muscleback Irons and a new version of the HEX Chrome+ Golf Ball to match Noren at 7-under. Meanwhile, Jaidee closed out his fourth top-10 of the year with an X Hot 3-wood and a new version of HEX Chrome+. Great playing, boys!
Colsaerts Puts In X Hot Pro 3Deep, Finishes T8
Nicolas Colsaerts led the Zurich Classic field in driving distance (no surprise there) and last Tuesday he put a new X Hot Pro 3 Deep Fairway Wood in play. In another example of why Tour Pros are better than us, Colsaerts carried his new 14.5° model 275 yards to the middle of a par-5 green during a practice round…in 15 mph winds. He instantly felt more confident in his new club and went on to finish T8. We’ll chalk this up as a pretty productive week for NC.
Woodland Leads Tight X Bomb Race
Our man Gary Woodland continues to lead the season-long #XBomb leaderboard, but Luke List and Colsaerts are still right on his heels. Woodland jumped up to 53 #XBombs of over 325 yards in 2013 while List and Colsaerts are just four behind with 49 apiece. They’re all adding a bunch of new patches every week which is certainly keeping our guys in the Tour Truck busy. But you know what, it’s a great “problem” to have.
X Hot Wins MyGolfSpy’s Most Wanted Driver of 2013
Before we go, we have to give a quick shout out to the X Hot Driver for winning MyGolfSpy’s “Most Wanted Driver For 2013”. X Hot won “Most Wanted Driver – Best Overall Award”, topping 16 other drivers from 12 other companies. And as if that wasn’t enough, Callaway won 10 additional awards as well, more than any other golf brand. We’ve got to give it up for all the ballers on our R&D team who made this happen! Congrats, fellas!
