In January, we announced our multiyear partnership as the exclusive club sponsor and official driver of the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship and Long Drivers of America (LDA). We are proud to be such a key part of LDA, and now we have assembled a new team of proven Long Drive competitors who could all make a run at this year’s World Long Drive Championship event in Las Vegas.
Ladies and gentleman, we’re excited to introduce the 10 members of the new X Hot Long Drive Team!

Headlined by two-time RE/MAX World Champion Carl Wolter and former world champion Mike Dobbyn, the group features an impressive mix of experience (with established names like Mansfield, Fairley and Crews) and youth (Hinson is just 17 and Frakes is 21). All 10 of these long drive professionals will keep extensive exhibition and competition schedules throughout the year.
The X Hot Long Drive Team will join RE/MAX World Long Drive Champions Jamie Sadlowski, Joe Miller and Bobby Wilson as Callaway Ambassadors. They will all play and promote Callaway clubs, balls, and sport the Callaway X Hot staff bag and cap, which will give us an even stronger presence at the biggest long drive events.
As part of the partnership, LDA is also selling Callaway X Hot Pro LD Drivers, which is a long driver version of our X Hot Driver. The X Hot Pro LD Driver head weighs approximately 199 grams and features Speed Frame Face Technology that increases ball speed, saves weight and optimizes stiffness and stress distribution across the face for more efficient energy transfer. Spoiler alert: these drivers are really long!
This year, the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship Finals will be televised October 30 on the Golf Channel in a live two-hour finale. The sport will also make its network television debut on NBC later this year. As the exclusive club sponsor, Callaway will be prominently featured during the events.

Just met Jeff Farley at an event yesterday and he is by far the longest and straitest pro I have ever met…WOW. This guy also hit it 320 on his knees- VERY Impressive. The best part is that he is a nice guy. Go Farley!
So happy to see Andrew Frakes on the team. Met him recently at an event in San Antonio. He took time to give instruction to everyone at the event, he was kind and extremely professional. He also flew the ball over our driving range which I didn’t think was possible. I didn’t buy the Xhot driver yet – but I did buy the 3 wood. Driver is next. Congrats Andrew! Katz
CAI event was at coto de caza today and met Jeff Farley on the Callaway Team…. The dude challenged anyone to hit it by him on his knees plus had to be in fairway… crazy stuff to see a ball go 320yds on his knees. Nice work!

Jeff “Far Out” Farley is a SOCAL golf legend. Callaway is lucky to have him as part of the long drive tour this year. I was fortunate enough to have him give me a playing lesson. He helped me take my handicap down from a 18 to a 12. He’s d Man!
