The two wins for Versa sparked a 3-win weekend for Odyssey, which also closed out a Champions Tour win on Sunday. With these three victories, The #1 Putter in Golf leads all putter brands with 32 worldwide Tour victories this year.
Versa has been on a crazy hot streak that’s included four wins over the past two weeks and five over the past three weeks. These putters have stood out for their performance, and their reputation has continued to grow with the world’s best players, especially on the PGA and Web.com Tours.
In fact, there were 22 Versa Putters in play last week at the Mid-Atlantic Championship (Web.com), and it seems that every week the number goes higher and higher.
Of course, Versa’s wins have made a huge impact for Odyssey too. Odyssey has recorded 10 wins over the last 3 weeks to take a commanding lead in putter wins for the year. During this 3-week stretch, our putters have racked up two PGA Tour wins, two European Tour wins, a major victory at the Sr. PGA Championship and an LPGA Tour win just to name a few.
We’re also tied for the lead or hold the outright lead in putter wins on five of the six major worldwide Tours. It’s all been a lot of fun to watch!

Colsaerts and Kirk Move Into New Putters
Nicolas Colsaerts and Chris Kirk both moved into new Odyssey Putters last week for The Memorial. Colsaerts decided to play a new White Hot Pro 2-Ball Blade that has the same basic specs as his Black Series i #1 gamer. His new White Hot Pro model has a crank-neck hosel and full-shaft offset.
Meanwhile, Kirk chose a Versa #1 Wide Black for the smooth greens at Muirfield Village. He told our Tour Reps that he liked the shape and amount of toe hang on the putter and said that his starting lines were way better with this slight toe hang design. We’ll see if he picks up even more Odyssey Drain Patches with his new Versa in the bag.
Noren, Bjorn Both Finish T4 At Nordea Masters
Alex Noren and Thomas Bjorn showed why they’re two of the most consistent players on the European Tour as both Callaway staffers finished T4 at the Nordea Masters. Noren nearly won this event for the second time in three years and posted his fourth top-10 of the season with an X Hot Pro Driver (7.5°), X Hot Pro 3Deep Fairway Wood, X Forged Irons, a HEX Black Tour Ball and an Odyssey ProType iX #1 Putter.
While Noren was in contention all week, Bjorn shot a final round 67 to charge up the leaderboard. Bjorn played a HEX Black Tour ball, RAZR Fit Xtreme 3-wood and an Odyssey Tank #7 Putter during the event. A quick note while we’re here, Tank #7 has been the #1 putter model at the last two European events, one of which was the BMW PGA Championship. Keep it up, Tank!
