The Callaway #ZooCrew tacked on a few more frequent flier miles this week as they made the cross country trip from our headquarters in Carlsbad, Ca to Orlando for the Arnold Palmer Invitational. We’ve had a lot going on the past few days, and as always our Social Media Manager Chad Coleman has been out there to capture all the behind-the-scenes moments.

Arnie Stops By The Trailer
He’s won 7 majors, designed some of the best courses around the world and done just about everything there is to do in the game, yet Arnold Palmer is still a golf club junkie at heart. The King took a minute out of his whirlwind day to stop by the Callaway Tour Trailer and check out the new X Hot Driver. Mr. Palmer chatted with our guys and luckily avoided any Mark Steffenhagen jokes while he was in there.
Chip Checks In With Callaway Staffers
Our CEO Chip Brewer was out and about on the putting green as he talked with a few of our staffers about their equipment, including Branden Grace. Chip’s a tremendous golfer in his own right and he likes to get feedback from players on how their clubs are performing.
Much like Palmer, he’s a golf fan at heart and loves to discuss anything and everything about Callaway equipment.
Odyssey Tour Team Gets Woodland Dialed Into Versa
Odyssey PGA Tour Rep Johnny Thompson worked with staffer Gary Woodland on alignment with Versa Putters. Woodland was the latest Staff Pro to move into Versa last week. Johnny has been extremely busy this year getting staffers and non-staffers into these new models, considering how popular they’ve been with Tour Pros.
Oh, and we should also mention, Odyssey has been the #1 Putter across the six major worldwide Tours this year.
Ishikawa Crushing His RAZR Fit Xtreme
Callaway Staff Pro Ryo Ishikawa put in some time on the range on Monday as he tested his RAZR Fit Xtreme Driver. He’s played this driver all year and this week he, Phil Mickelson and Jim Furyk will all have one in their bags.
Who Wants An Arnold Palmer?
How could we get through this post without mentioning Mr. Palmer’s beverage? We thought we could do it; we were wrong. The #ZooCrew might have downed a few of these on Monday, but that’s just a hunch.
